Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, by Susan Cain
Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, written by Susan Cain, is an informative book for those of us who are introverted or have family members who are.
This book helped me to realize that it's okay to enjoy solitude, to prefer one-on-one conversations, and to find that group assignments or tasks are not always the best. Some of us do our best work alone. I feel that one of the best attributes of introverts is that we think before we speak, which is an asset in everyday life.
I learned a lot about myself while reading this book and hope that others will too.
