The Women: A Novel, by Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite historical fiction writers; and her new book, The Women, did not disappoint! The Women takes place during the Vietnam War and tells the story of Frances McGrath, who follows her brother to Vietnam and joins the US Army Nurse Corps. She is unprepared for what she will experience and how her life will be altered once she is home from war. This book kept me up too late at night because I couldn’t put it down! If you like historical fiction, I highly recommend this one! You won’t regret it!
